I got a LinkedIn message and then had an HR screening call. It was a quick, very direct call, lasting about 12 minutes. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager. It was a cold and arrogant interview, quite painful. They said they wanted to see how I'd handle interacting with someone new and difficult. I rarely back out of roles this early, but the vibe from the company made me realize I wouldn't enjoy working there.

Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, thought I'd be a great fit and wanted to set up an interview. Had a great and enjoyable conversation, they checked all the boxes for skills, experience, etc. Thought I'd at least get a follow up interview. Recruiter then ghosted me for two weeks with no reply to follow-ups and then I got the auto-reply thanks but no thanks email. Very discouraging.

The TA screen was good and gave a great overview of the business. The Hiring Manager interview was similar and a good fit was established. Both of these people were new to the business and part of a cultural change. The next stage was meeting the wider team, and that's when things got uncomfortable. They seemed like intense micro-managers with little interest in a positive or collaborative environment, and asked some very strange & inappropriate questions, much like the Glassdoor reviews mentioned. I saw too many red flags to continue.

Behavioral Case Technical

Since I got referred by someone at the company, my interview process was a bit different from the usual. It started with an interview with the Hiring Manager, followed by a Business case assessment. Then, I had a Peer interview, and after that, an HR interview. Finally, they made an Offer.
