Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview happened over video with a few people. Most were nice, but one person kept their camera off, which was weird and impersonal for a senior job. The worst part was the HR process after. They didn't update me for over a month, and I had to chase them myself. Then, they sent parts of the offer like the base salary on WhatsApp and just read out the benefits on a call instead of a proper written offer. This felt careless for a big company. Also, the job's responsibilities sounded big, maybe leading to a senior management role, but they offered a lower level with pay that was not only uncompetitive but way below market rate. They asked for very old employment history for salary calculation, but the offer didn't make sense. They gave me a short deadline to respond, which felt rushed. The work sounded interesting, but the HR process and offer were bad. It made me wonder if they really pay fairly or if pay is aligned with the market.

Behavioral Other

The hiring manager talked about the role and asked if I was up for the challenge. I asked if they were looking for someone to start right away or if there would be time to learn. He said they hadn't decided yet. Near the end, the HR person, who had been there the whole time, asked me the same question again and seemed out of sync. I think HR and the hiring team should figure out what they need before interviewing candidates so they don't waste people's time.

They asked me why I want to work at SGH, what my strengths and weaknesses are, and how I handle stressful situations. For the first question, I should look into SGH's mission and values and their pharmacy department to explain why I like them. For strengths and weaknesses, I should talk about skills good for the job like attention to detail and organization, and be honest about weaknesses but frame them as things I'm working on. For stressful situations, I need to give examples of how I've managed pressure and stayed focused.

Behavioral Technical

I arrived on time for my interview but had to wait 30 minutes because the previous interview ran late. They started by asking me what I knew about the role, then asked me to talk about my past experiences that are relevant. After that, there were some general behavioral questions about my personality, like asking about my strengths and weaknesses. Not many technical questions were asked. The whole interview was over in about 30-40 minutes. They said they'd contact me in 1-2 weeks with an update, but I haven't heard back yet.
