I had two interviews, first with HR and then with the team lead. The HR interview was mainly about getting to know me and some introductory stuff. The team lead interview was pretty good; we mostly went through my resume and discussed some fundamental security concepts.

The whole process was pretty fast. First, I had a call with HR, then a technical interview with the manager. The manager asked me about a specific skill that wasn't on my resume, saying that not knowing it means you're not considered. The manager's style can be a bit much for some people, though.

They also asked about my experience leading teams, how big those teams were, and my overall management background. It was a pretty standard interview, and the interviewer was really helpful and made it a good experience.

So first I applied. Then a recruiter reached out for an initial chat. After that, I spoke with the hiring manager. Then the recruiter set up some interviews with the hiring manager's peers. We did all this over Teams because of covid. Lastly, I had an interview with the EVP/SVP of sales.
