The first interview stage involved questions about my SQL and JavaScript skills, and the projects and problems I've worked on. They also asked about my experience leading teams, how big those teams were, and my overall management background. It was a pretty standard interview, and the interviewer was really helpful and made it a good experience.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you fix these Javascript code issues by removing unnecessary parts?
  • Perform simple SQL joins on the user, order, order detail, and price tables.

The interview included a programming challenge where I had to merge two obscure satellite data sources and use them to build an app showing the satellites on a map. I made a basic website for it, but then someone without a technical background said they were 'expecting a deliverable'.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you complete a programming challenge that merges obscure satellite data to show satellites on a map?
  • Can you evaluate the deliverable of the programming challenge?

Behavioral Technical

I met a recruiter at a college career fair and they were really interested in my resume, so they set up an interview. After that, I didn't hear anything for over a month. Then I got an email apologizing for the delay because the company was busy. I was able to schedule an in-person interview. After the interview, they said they wanted to offer me a position, but the details wouldn't be finalized until after the holidays and I should get a description around the New Year. It's been over a month since then, and I still haven't received a description, nor have my follow-up emails gotten a response or explanation. The interview itself was great, but the communication afterward was terrible.
