I went through three rounds of interviews: a phone call, a virtual one, and an in-person meeting. Before the final interview, there was also an Excel test. The virtual and in-person interviews felt a bit repetitive since it was with the same people.

It was pretty easy. I sat down with the Location and Area Managers and talked about my past experiences. They wanted to know my average contact amount, average yearly case load, and the different types of services I know how to lead and arrange.

I had two people interview me in person for the first interview and got a call only a couple days later from another manager wanting to have a second interview with me. I wound up declining the second interview since the pay was not great for this position and it seemed a bit over the top for them only offering $17/hr for an administrative assistant role.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I interviewed for a Paid Media Manager role at SCI. The senior leadership was great and the job description seemed exciting, plus the company's mission is inspiring. However, there were some issues. They focused on culture fit but the questions didn't always seem to assess it well. I was supposed to talk to the CMO but then wasn't, which was confusing. I was surprised they brought up 'teamwork experience' as an issue given my background managing people at a big agency. The individual contributors I met were okay, but different from the senior leaders. It felt like there might be some gatekeeping in the hiring process. Overall, it was a mixed experience. The role could be good for someone, but the JD and interview process could be clearer and more aligned. Hope this feedback helps.
