First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sequoia Equities.
Sales and Leasing Consultant
I had a phone screen with HR, then an in-person interview the next day. I was told I was moving forward, but then got ghosted. Noelle did the phone interview and set up the in-person with Erica Cabellos the following day. Erica said I would advance, but then she ignored my follow-ups.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Community Manager
The interview process was super smooth and I really liked it. There were 3 interviews, and I got the offer super fast the day after the last one. They were really quick to respond, making it a seamless experience. The interviewers were really nice and approachable, which I loved. It didn't feel like a formal interrogation, more like a chat. They were all friendly and made it easy to talk and share my thoughts. It was a great experience and I'm excited to join!
- Could you describe your management style?
Maintenance Technician
I felt welcomed from the first phone call with Enrique. Meeting Matt, Chrissy, Bo, Mike and others confirmed it felt like home. Everyone was knowledgeable about the company and answered my questions. I was very impressed with the property.
- How well do you work with others?
Sales and Leasing Consultant
I put in my application online and a few days later, the recruiter gave me a call. I got an email the same day saying I was moving on. Then I had a Skype interview with the community manager. After that, I got another email saying I was good to go to the next step. I had two more Skype interviews, one with someone from Regional and another with the creative team. The last step was an in-person meeting with the community manager. Once all those interviews were done, they said they'd ask for a background and drug test, and then they'd make an offer.
- Can you share an example of a challenging situation you faced at work and how you handled it?
- Describe your approach to teamwork.
- What is your work ethic like?
