So, the whole interview thing took over a month and a half, and I got through all the levels up to meeting with the CRO in the US, who's at L5. If there was another step, it would have been with the CEO. Everything was tough, and I had to do tons of research, look into the market, check out the competition, and then make a business plan about how I'd do the job. The really annoying part was after the L5 interview with the CRO; I heard nothing back, not even after chasing up the TA. It's been three weeks, so I guess I'll just assume I didn't get it and move on. Why waste people's time and effort and not even give a proper ending, just leave things hanging and totally ghost the candidate? Even though they have a solid tech offering and a good future plan with Cybersecurity and AI, I think way less of Securonix now and am super disappointed with how my interview process was managed.

I had a total of two rounds with Securonix. The first one was the Techno-Managerial round where the Team lead had asked very reasonable and relevant questions in a friendly attitude. However, in round 2, it was fully technical, the interviewer was throwing a barrage of statistical questions which had no use in application as far as the role was concerned. It was a mid experience overall.

I had such an intricate interview for the first time in my life. The interviewer was asking microscopic details like what are primitive values (we all know what it is but how many of us can define it?). He started the interview with asking questions from my resume, what i worked on, how I used Lighthouse, what did I make there, how did I made the impact I showed in my resume. Then he started with the questions. Finally he asked me to make a todolist with react components, the catch was to build UI and functional components seperately.

The interview process included three rounds. The first round focused on your resume projects and any internship experience. You'll get easy DSA questions in your preferred language, some database queries (easy to medium), and basic testing questions. The second round is a more in-depth chat about your projects, like how you built them and what other options you thought about. It also includes mid-level DSA and some managerial questions to gauge your interest. The third round covers core CS topics like OS, Networks, and DBMS (basic to intermediate) and a logic problem.
