& Process

The interview process had three main rounds and then an HR chat, and it wrapped up in about a week. Technical Round 1 was all about my resume stuff, mostly networking, databases, APIs, connectivity, and general architecture. Then came Technical Round 2, where I got an assessment to do on my own. We talked through it on a call later, covering how I approached it, the logic, and my design choices. The last round was face-to-face with the VP, and we went over my overall understanding, my experience, and if I fit the role.

So basically, it was a campus interview. First, we had an Aptitude Round with Negative Marking, just basic aptitude questions. Then, a Coding Round where they gave us a binary tree code in multiple languages and asked for pre-order, in-order, and post-order traversal output, and what effect a change in the code would do. After that, a Technical Interview where they grilled us on the resume and gave brain teasers and puzzles. Lastly, an HR Round with Behavioural Questions and Ethical Questions.

The interview process had an integrity issue with leadership at Seclore. The final round was completed, and there was an integrity issue with the statements made to me. This company is a startup, confirmed by the recruiter, but when I asked this in the final round, I was told it's not a startup. Anyway, when the leader at the top is not showing integrity, it's least expected in the culture here. The 1st and 2nd rounds were good and perfect.

I applied through OnCampus hiring in Aug 2024. There were 4 rounds in total. The 1st Round was an Aptitude test with 16 general aptitude questions (Probability, blood relation, logical reasoning). Scoring was +1 for correct, -0.5 for wrong. I answered 12 questions I was sure of. Out of 250 candidates from 2 colleges, only 12 made it to the 2nd round. The 2nd Round was Coding. We were given a sheet with 4-5 pages of Binary Search Tree code, including functions like insert, delete, get root, and some unnamed ones (F22, F3). There were 5 questions based on this code, requiring one-liner answers about the code's functionality. I got 4 out of 5 correct. I was the only one selected out of 12 people. This round tested code comprehension. After a day's gap, the 3rd Round was a Technical Interview with the Lead Product Engineer, mostly focusing on Projects & Puzzles. It started with introductions, then a deep dive into my projects and resume details. Puzzles were also included. I answered 2 out of 3 puzzles, and the focus was on my approach, not just the answer. I was selected for the final round, which was the next day at their Andheri Office. The Final Round was Technical + HR, with questions similar to the 3rd round, plus basic HR questions about me and my family. I was selected 2 days later and received an offer letter the same evening!
