Case Behavioral Technical

So first, I had this case study where I had to process data using excel, like cleaning it up and formatting it. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager. We talked about my past experience with data and some behavioral questions about problem-solving. They also explained the role in detail, especially since it involves moving data into a new platform.

  • When you get a new set of data, how do you verify it, and what cleaning steps would you take?
  • How do you check for data upon receiving a new batch? What cleaning steps would you perform?

Behavioral Technical

For a Data Scientist role, SCOR first does an HR screening. Then there's a technical test. After that, you might have one to three technical interviews with people on the team or the managers. They'll ask about your past experience, stats knowledge, any data science projects you've done, and how you solve problems. They also ask some behavioral questions to see if you'd fit in.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you explain statistical distributions and their use cases?

First, a video call with HR, where they presented the company and described the job. They asked about my education, experience, and motivations, and there was an English test. Then, an interview with an Executive, where they showed me the team and the office, and we discussed my motivations, skills, experience, and motivations again.

Technical Behavioral

I had a selection and first interview with a service provider, then a second interview directly with the manager. The interview felt more like an interrogation than a conversation, which makes me wonder if that's the company culture. The recruiter's body language and communication also awkwardly hinted that the work environment in the department is quite stressful right now, which aligns with recent news about the company and its outlook. Obviously, as a candidate, I didn't want to continue the process. My confusion after leaving the interview was as high as my motivation and enthusiasm before starting it.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • What are the challenges faced in the Cyber market?
  • What is D&O (in English)?
  • Can you explain the purpose and mechanisms of reinsurance (in English)?
