I was invited to participate in the selection process through Gupy. I had conversations with the recruiter and two heads: one was the hiring manager for the position, and the other was the leader of the development team. The discussions were very relaxed, cordial, and informal.

The interviewer was very transparent throughout the whole process, and kept me informed of the step-by-step at all times so I could get feedback as soon as possible. There were some questions but all were answered within the deadline and so I could organize myself.

The process was smooth and very humanized. Everyone was very respectful and answered any questions I had during the process, which eases anxiety and helps to prepare better for the interviews. One in Portuguese, one by phone already in English, others are by video in English too. The only problem is that they guard the salary very closely.

I didn't apply for anything specific, just filled out a general application online. Got a call about a week later for the Account Analyst role. The first phone interview was super short, like 10 minutes, mostly just basic resume questions and some quick financial stuff. It was really easy. Then they asked me to come in person a week later, which I was excited about. I got there super early, 30 minutes before my scheduled time. But then I ended up waiting over an hour past my interview start time. Apparently, nobody knew I was supposed to be there, and the person who was supposed to interview me was off that day. I was stunned. Eventually, two other guys interviewed me, but they seemed totally unprepared. The questions they asked were all over the place and the whole thing was disorganized. I'm pretty sure I nailed the questions though, since I know a lot about financial statements and how to interpret them. After that, they told me to hang tight while they found more people to interview me. I was so confused, why again? After about 5 more minutes, they just told me I was done and could go. I felt good about the actual interview, but the whole waiting and disorganization left a bad taste in my mouth about the company. It's been over a month and I haven't heard anything, but honestly, it's fine because I found a job with better pay and benefits. Good luck if you're looking at ScanSource. Also, they're a flat organization, so don't expect career growth there, just use it for experience.
