The interviewer (Sharon) was really lovely and it felt like a very laid back interview. Was happy to answer any of my questions, and was very knowledgeable! She gave the impression of someone who wants cohesion in the workplace and wants to make sure everyone fits in.

My interview experience with Save-On-Foods for the Business Analyst role wasn't great and felt kinda opaque. I went through several rounds, including one in-person meeting, but didn't really get a clear picture of where things stood. The last interview felt pretty open-ended, and they didn't ask any specific questions related to the job, so it was hard to tell what they were looking for. I tried to get some feedback or more info about the decision after the interview, but never heard back. I thought a company like this would have better, more respectful communication, especially after multiple interviews. Honestly, it just left me with more questions.

The interview was pretty simple. Mostly asked about my experience with customer service and work in general. There were also some questions about problem-solving and dealing with tricky customers. It didn't take very long.

This was a long and frankly unprofessional interview process that left me feeling discouraged. It began with a salary expectation discussion. Then, a lengthy 5-month interview period commenced. After numerous interview rounds, an HR representative contacted me to negotiate a salary significantly below market rates and my current earnings. I declined, and they stated they'd follow up, but there was complete silence for three months. I reached out to the hiring manager for an update. She began questioning my abilities and downplaying my past accomplishments. Additionally, she indicated no opportunities for promotion for at least three years. Fortunately, I had secured another offer with a 1.5 times higher salary. I consider their recruitment approach to be toxic and unprofessional. In my opinion, I should have been screened out earlier given my salary expectations were already much higher than their offer. I suspect they intended to exhaust me with this drawn-out process. I'm sharing this for other applicants who might encounter a similar situation.
