Started with emails with HR, then went straight to an interview with the hiring manager. They were really upfront and direct. Definitely have some questions ready to go, and be sure to ask about the salary range for both base pay and any bonuses.

It was a little all over the place, they asked questions about the company, your hygiene, your biggest accomplishments, why you want to work at that specific location, professional qualities, etc. They just want to see if you can hold a conversation. A plus if you can have questions for them and relate to them.

I applied online, and then I got a call a few days later to confirm they got my application. After that, I kept calling them, maybe once a week. I made sure to mention my name each time. If I knew the person answering the phone, I'd say 'Hello [name], it's [my name] calling again to talk to [the owner] about my application. Are they available?' Eventually, I think they got tired of me calling and asked me to come in for an interview. They asked common interview questions like what you're looking for out of this job, what you can bring to this job, and if you'd rather work alone or with a team, but one very important one that I felt was very focused on selling.
