Got an invite to interview at Redwood about 2 weeks after applying. The whole process took 3 months and included a screening call, a personality test, a skills test, and 4 one-on-one interviews. Two of the interviews were technical, and the other two were for culture fit. The skills test was about using AI to give optimization recommendations for a blog, and I had to document my prompt, process, and recommendations. Overall, it was a negative experience given the time invested and only getting a canned response at the end.

Technical Other

I went through 5 interview stages, along with an aptitude test and a personality test. After that, the recruiter ghosted me even though they said there'd be a potential offer. The interviews themselves were with nice people, but we had a lot of Zoom technical problems and scheduling issues. I followed up twice after not hearing anything for a few weeks. After the second nudge, they said there'd be more news soon, and then I never heard anything again. It was disappointing how they handled communication and their integrity as a recruitment team, leaving people hanging like that, especially since I saw other candidates had the same experience.

I was referred by an employee in 2023. After the referral, I had a phone interview with the recruiter, and then a Zoom interview with two staff members. The recruiter call was straightforward, and she explained the role. The Zoom interview was super competitive, with one interviewer being really nice and the other quite tough. It seemed like the tough interviewer was added last minute because he hadn't even seen my resume. He was kind of rude, interrupted the other interviewer, and told me my answers were wrong. He asked some really difficult questions, and it felt like he wanted to show me I wasn't qualified for the role I was referred for.

The interview process was really nice and I enjoyed it. I met a lot of people during the interviews and everyone was great. They seemed to know what they learned about me already, so the questions were all relevant and it felt like a well-organized process. It felt like they were interested in me from the beginning, which was a good feeling, and I had plenty of time to ask any questions I had.
