The interview process involved 1 Aptitude Round, 1 Performance Assessment, 2 Technical Rounds, and a Managerial Round. The Aptitude round had some basic math questions. The Technical Rounds covered basics of Java, Maps, Array, and SQL, testing in-depth basic knowledge in each area, plus coding questions within the same round.

Technical Behavioral

The interview process initially seemed really thorough and well-planned. It started with a phone screen, then a detailed personality/HR interview, and a technical interview. However, things went downhill after that. I had an "informal" final phone interview, which turned out to be mostly another technical interview I wasn't ready for, and it was cut short. Despite trying hard to get updates through the Redwood recruiter, I never heard back or got any feedback. It's a bummer the hiring process ended like that, because Redwood really seems to put in a lot of effort early on, more than most companies. I still think they offer a better hiring experience than many, but the interview process just misses that final 10%.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I went through a few phone chats with HR, then met in person with the VP of Development and a Senior Software Developer. After that, I had a Skype chat with the Chief Architect which included a live coding test. Everyone was really nice and professional, and I felt pretty good, but the interviews were definitely challenging.
