First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RAPP.
Data Scientist
I had an interview and was then provided a take-home task, which I completed and submitted. Despite following up with polite emails for follow-up, I never received feedback about the task or updates about my application. Investing time and effort without even a courtesy reply was frustrating and disheartening. This unprofessional behaviour might poorly reflect the company's communication and respect for candidates' time.
- Initial call and then take home a task with instructions
Account Executive
Terrible interview process. I had 2 interviews scheduled. First one in late 2024, the initial phone call with the recruiter was missed, then rescheduled, then went well and I was told about next steps…then completely ghosted. Sent 4 follow up emails and never heard back. Happened again recently, early 2025. Sent an interview and never got a call, followed up and never heard back. Ghosted again. Even if there’s been progress on another lead or the role has been filled, at least have the decency to share that info so I’m not hanging on. Do better HR/recruiting department!
- Can you tell me about your experience working with clients?
Data Analyst
First there was a phone call with HR for an initial screening. After that I interviewed with the head of the data analytic team so we could discuss the position and my experience. Then, I was given data and some time to prepare a Powerpoint. This was followed by an in-person 30-minute presentation to several managers, which also included a Q&A session.
- How would you convince management about the significance of A/B testing?
Marketing Intern
I got an email from them about a week after I applied, which was nice. The application itself was pretty involved and asked for creative answers, so I was looking forward to it. The interview I had was with the team lead for the division I applied to and it was super chill and conversational. If I had advanced, two more team members would have joined my interviewer and I would have had to present a project I was most proud of. My main issue was with HR's handling of things. I wish they were more upfront about the hiring timeline. I don't mind rejections, but I just want a clear answer. I got a rejection email about two weeks after the interview, but it was a blank template – no name, no company, no position. It felt dismissive and a bit insulting.
