The interview process involved a coding and design round, followed by a technical HR round. In the coding section, a Java coding problem was presented and execution was required. The design part included both high-level and low-level design challenges. Finally, the technical HR round focused on basic Java and algorithms.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process began positively, but the end became quite disrespectful. After dedicating several hours across three separate interviews, the hiring manager indicated a desire to advance my candidacy and arrange a meeting with a C-suite executive. I was not only expecting an update on the next steps but received nothing. Furthermore, my multiple follow-up emails to the recruiter were ignored and left unanswered. Considering the numerous reviews I encountered about Quotient's overall culture, I suspect I may have narrowly avoided a negative situation. Regardless, this is not an appropriate way to treat anyone, especially a serious candidate for a leadership position.

Coding Technical

I had two rounds in total and it didn't go any further. The first was a Hackerrank test. The second was a face-to-face interview. I was interviewed by a developer instead of a tester. He gave me two programming questions, which I solved and executed. The interviewer was quite helpful. However, the problem was that he asked questions from a developer's perspective, not a tester's, focusing entirely on design and core concepts. I couldn't answer two theory questions, and he immediately rejected me! I was quite disappointed with this, as these days interviews seem to be more about memorizing concepts and just speaking them out rather than approaching with the right attitude and behavior!

Technical Behavioral

The interview process was quite poor. I had a first round with the hiring manager that lasted an hour, where I was asked a lot of rapid-fire questions about my background. I was then told I'd have 4 more 30-minute interviews. Before proceeding, I confirmed the compensation range since it wasn't on the job posting. After confirming, I went through with the 4 interviews. Three of these were again rapid-fire questions, and the interviewers were unfriendly, seeming like robots and not wanting to get to know me. There was little time for my questions. The last interviewer was very nice, spent time getting to know me, and gave me 15 minutes to ask questions. I was asked the same questions repeatedly across the interviews, which was frustrating. A pre-assessment or group interview might prevent this. I was offered the job the following week but declined because the team environment (except the last interviewer) seemed uninterested and uninviting. The benefits and pay seemed good, but I accepted another offer with a better team.
