I had a phone screen first, and then a 3-hour onsite interview. The onsite had a few panels with hiring managers, my potential teammates, and others. After all that, I never heard back, not even a rejection, which was pretty disappointing and unprofessional.

I applied directly on their website and heard back quickly from a recruiter. They set up an onsite interview for the next week. The interview itself was pretty messy. The interviewers didn't seem prepared or very interested. They didn't really explain the company or what the job was about. When they talked about qualifications, the managers didn't seem to know much about the licenses needed for the job in their department. It was clear they hadn't even read my resume. It was a waste of time for everyone.

The interview process started with a phone call from HR, where they asked basic questions about my background, any employment gaps, and my motivation for this role. Following that, I had an interview with the hiring manager and director. This round focused on technical knowledge, specifically my familiarity with testing panels like liver and renal, the principles behind lab instruments, and how my past experience aligns with the job requirements. They also asked about my resume.

I had an interview over Teams with 3 people. It was a bit awkward because only I had my camera on. The questions were pretty standard, but I felt like they weren't really listening or asking follow-ups. Two of them barely said anything, and the main interviewer rushed through the questions like they wanted it to be over quickly. When I asked my questions, the answers were super short. It was supposed to be 45 minutes but ended in under 30. It felt really cold compared to my previous interviews.
