Got an interview request 3.5 weeks after applying online. The virtual interview was with the Hiring Manager plus 3 teammates. They asked about 10 questions, mostly behavioral, covering work style, general experience in the field, and typical STAR questions. I was rejected by the HM via email 4 weeks after the interview. Turns out, there were two listings for what was essentially one position: a Level I and a Level II. They ended up hiring for the L2 role because the candidate pool had more experience. It felt like a waste of time to go through the whole process for the L1 listing. So, heads up about those PSE listings that cover multiple levels – they might be posting several requisitions for just one job.

The process was pretty smooth and easy. It started with a redlining assignment, and then there was a 1.5-hour panel interview. Everyone was professional and nice, and they were really accommodating. It was a good experience.

I had a short call with a member of the team to go over the role and what it would be like. Then, I had a panel interview with a few people. The interview consisted of around 10 questions related to the role, most of which were standard and expected. My understanding was that this was the only interview for the role which seemed strange since I barely spoke with the hiring manager. The interview was average but the people didn't seem too interested in me, I kind of got the impression they may have already made their decision. I got ghosted afterwards and wasn't told whether or not I got the job.

Applied and got a call from the hiring supervisor after about 2 weeks. Had a 30-minute phone screen and then got invited for an on-site interview 2 days later. The on-site was with 2 supervisors, one of whom was the person I spoke with on the phone. It lasted about 80 minutes and I felt it went really well. I was set to get an offer, but unfortunately, I live too far away to meet their 30-minute emergency call-in policy, so I was rejected. I think they should mention this strict requirement in the job posting to save people time. Basically, if you don't live in King County, you're out for this job. They did let me know about the rejection quickly, which was good.
