First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prometheus Group.
Sales Director
There were 4 steps in the interview process. First, HR, then the Recruiting Manager, followed by the VP of Sales, and finally the CRO. Each step involved very different questions, and the approach was quite direct, almost impolite. They kept changing meeting times back and forth and showed a lack of empathy. Despite this, they said everything was great and indicated they wanted to extend an offer.

Associate Product Owner
The interview process was a bit messy because it seemed like the interviewers weren't on the same page. I was told that was it for interviews, but then they called me in for more. The questions felt off, like they weren't interested in getting to know me as a person or a potential teammate, but more to see how much I'd tolerate. They mentioned the company culture is 'live to work' and the hours are 8-6 Monday-Thursday and 8-12 Friday, all in person. I was also told I'd have to work extra hours outside of the office to get up to speed quickly during onboarding. My recruiter was good, but honestly, I was kind of relieved when I got rejected.
- Are you prepared to sacrifice your personal life completely for this role?
Software Engineer
The interview process started with an HR call, then I had two on-site interviews, one technical and one for background check. The company's product seems solid, with existing B2B deals and a steady customer base. The tech team was professional and made me feel included. But, I was worried about the company culture, how they do things, and the HR approach. The offer part felt rushed and messy, with HR calling out of the blue to see where I stood. I asked for a sign-on bonus, but the amount was less than I hoped for, and the terms had a layoff clause that seemed tricky. Because of all this, I didn't feel I could trust the company and decided to pass on the offer.
- Can you explain CQRS?
- What are your thoughts on React hooks?
- Describe monolith/microservice decomposition patterns.
Data Analyst
So first, an HR/Recruiter interview, then a one on one with the Team lead over the phone. After that, an in-person SQL/analytics test with the Team lead and/or another analyst. The SQL/Analytics test is pretty simple, it’s about describing what various logic is doing, fixing broken logic, and giving examples of how you’d solve problems you’re given.
- Tell me about your background in data analytics.
- If we offered you the position, what would you contribute to the team?
- Can you explain the functionality of the provided logic?
