The interview process started with an HR call, then I had two on-site interviews, one technical and one for background check. The company's product seems solid, with existing B2B deals and a steady customer base. The tech team was professional and made me feel included. But, I was worried about the company culture, how they do things, and the HR approach. The offer part felt rushed and messy, with HR calling out of the blue to see where I stood. I asked for a sign-on bonus, but the amount was less than I hoped for, and the terms had a layoff clause that seemed tricky. Because of all this, I didn't feel I could trust the company and decided to pass on the offer.

It was a pretty good interview process, the people were friendly and it felt like a start-up culture. The process had a few stages. First, there was an initial phone call that seemed pretty informal, mostly talking about experience and skills. Then, there was a meet and greet event, kind of to see how you'd fit in and find a team or role that's a good match, and other candidates were there too. After that, I had a technical interview with the tech lead or team lead I'd be working with, where I had to answer questions on a whiteboard.

The interview was really smooth. There was a panel of 3 people. It started off with behavioral questions about my past work, experience, and what I wanna do. Then it moved to technical stuff, asking about languages and technologies for the job. Finally, there were a few white-boarding questions.
