Really straightforward interview process. Started with an HR phone call to discuss the job and see if I was a good fit. Then had two interviews with managers. They were very casual and focused on potential for growth, since travel is required for the role.

Applied on LinkedIn and got a response pretty quickly. After that, things slowed down a lot. The first interview was scheduled a month later. The whole process involved 4-5 interviews, with 2-3 weeks between each. My first two interviews were good, but the one with the top business manager didn't go well because they were late and had terrible internet issues making the Zoom call unusable. My fourth interview, scheduled right after the third, got postponed twice and then canceled. I found out I didn't get the job about 10 days later. It took 3 months for an entry-level position, which is too long unless you're desperate.

The interview process was pretty fast. I started with a quick 30-minute intro call about the company and the role. Then, about a week later, I had a longer, hour-long phone interview. After that, there was an in-person interview in Chicago that lasted about an hour. Overall, it felt organized and moved quickly. However, during the on-site, the interviewer was running late, which, given the company's nature, I can understand. He also kept checking his phone and left it on the table. When I asked if it was work-related, he mentioned it was personal. The company seems to have a young and flexible outlook, but I found the interview process itself to be quite unprofessional.

They were hiring for several different levels of creative and got confused about which position I was interested in, thinking I was going for a more junior role. The compensation they told me over the phone was too low and I think it was because of that confusion. My interview with the hiring manager was okay, though they seemed hesitant to discuss compensation. The interview with the CEO got cancelled after I showed up and waited for half an hour, so we rescheduled. The final interview after rescheduling went fine, and we talked about compensation at a certain price point. I got a verbal offer over the phone that was 10% less than what we discussed, and it was for an uncertain position. After I pointed out the discrepancies over the phone, I received a standard rejection email. This company doesn't value labor much, relying more on junior talent and not really understanding marketing.
