First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PrideStaff.
Recruiter
I applied and got a call really fast to set up an interview, but it felt kind of all over the place from the start. During the interviews, it was like they didn't even look at my resume because they kept asking me to explain why I left past jobs. And after three rounds, there was also confusion about the references I gave, like how to reach them even though I put down email addresses. Basically, the questions and how unprepared they seemed made it feel really unplanned, so I decided to pull out.
- Would you accept a job offer right away or need time to think about it?
Event Staff
The interview process was super easy and straightforward. The pay was good, and the hours were manageable. The work environment felt pleasant. They pay on time every Friday. I really enjoyed my time working for Pride Staff of Houston (Galleria). I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a stable job.
- Can you tell me about your work history?
- What are your strongest qualities as an employee?
Shipping and Receiving Clerk
The interview was in-person at the agency’s office, following COVID safety rules. They went over the job description and explained what they were looking for. The interviewer talked about the company and shared their website. They asked about my previous work experience and if I had worked with an agency before, and if so, how that went. They also told me the pay range and scheduled an interview with the site manager. It felt like a quick and easy chat.
- Can you tell me about your relevant experience and what you look for in a team setting?
- What are your expectations when working as part of a team?
- Have you worked with a temp agency before? If so, what was your experience like?
Accountant
They call you in right away to get to know you and ask about your past experience. Based on what you've done, they'll identify jobs that fit or even suggest new areas if you're open to them. They talked about different clients they have and opportunities that could be good for you.
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your previous position?
