Customer Service Representative
The interview experience was really good. The people were friendly and professional, which helped me feel less nervous. It started with a casual chat, then moved to a virtual interview using AI where I had to record my answers. It was my first time doing an AI interview, but I think it went well.
- Tell me about a situation where you worked well in a team.
Customer Service Representative
It was a 3 stage process. It's been weeks and I haven't heard back. It's really frustrating. I've asked a few times and still nothing. I feel like I might have missed out on a real opportunity while I was waiting. I would have really liked to have had the chance. At least I wish I could get some feedback.
- Can you describe a situation where you dealt with a challenging customer?
- Walk me through your experience with [specific customer service scenario].
- What do you consider your strongest skills for customer service?
Recruitment Coordinator
The whole thing took about a month from applying to getting rejected. The first call was super short, under ten mins, just asking basic stuff like salary and when I could start. Then I had to do this online assessment thing. After that, I spoke with the hiring manager. She asked me STAR method questions, which were pretty direct. She even told me I was overqualified during that chat. So, it was a real bummer when, after they asked for references, I got an automated rejection email a week and a half later. It felt like an application stage rejection even though I'd gone through the whole interview process.
- Describe an instance where you dealt with a challenging customer.
Compliance Officer
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, and after a quick chat, they set up an interview with the hiring manager. I said I was interested because the job seemed to offer growth in an area I wanted to develop. The interview was pretty short, and by the middle, I figured I wasn't getting the job. The manager seemed impatient and annoyed, which is fine, maybe they didn't like my background, but I don't get why they contacted me since I had just started a new job at a big company. Later, I was told the job requirements changed and I didn't get it, though the online ad looks the same. Overall, it felt like a waste of my time, and the vague response afterward left me pretty irritated, making it a bad experience.
