First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PODS.
Senior Internal Communications Specialist
It was a really quick and easy process. First, I had a virtual chat with the recruiter. Then, a virtual interview with the hiring manager. Finally, an in-person meeting with the whole team and the hiring manager. I got the offer a couple weeks later.

Digital Media Coordinator
I applied for a couple of jobs I thought I was a good fit for at PODS. After filling out the application, which took over an hour, I had to take a 40 minute Berke assessment. Less than two hours after submitting my application for two separate jobs, I got an email saying they were moving forward with other candidates. It's frustrating when you spend so much time on an application and assessment, only to be rejected immediately by an ATS without a human ever looking at your resume. They should move the assessment to after the first interview so candidates don't waste their time.
- Are you legally authorized to work in the US?
Financial Analyst
Two back-to-back interviews in person, which is frustrating in 2024 that you have to take personal time instead of doing it online. They did not get back to me after the final round of interviews after saying I was a finalist. I had to reach out to them instead to find out I didn't receive the job.
- Can you tell us about your experience with FP&A?
- What systems have you used in your FP&A roles?
National Sales Director
I got in touch with the hiring manager, an old colleague, about an opening. They told me to apply for a Director-level sales job, and I went through several interviews with VPs and Directors across sales, strategy, marketing, HR, and operations. I was told I didn't get that role but was then asked to interview for a more junior sales position. Since I'm changing industries and have been out of work for over 8 months, I was totally open to it and excited even for this chance, despite being bummed about the first role. I waited for more interviews, which I was told was the next step, but then I got a job offer via email. I was thrilled and relieved to get back to work and not drain my savings completely. I looked over the offer and talked to HR about benefits and some extra details. Because it was sales, I also wanted more info on the commission part of the pay, expected targets, and past performance in my region. They were supposed to schedule meetings, and I kept following up to get the info I needed to decide whether to accept. I was talking to HR regularly during this time. Then, out of the blue, I got an email saying the role was filled by someone else and my acceptance window had passed, even though there was no expiration date on the offer. I was shocked! No phone call. When I called HR and the hiring manager, nobody called me back. In my 20+ years of work, I've never seen anything like it. It really shows how this company doesn't respect people. I'm even considering legal action since I turned down other opportunities for this. I will never buy or recommend this company's products or services, nor will I ever consider or recommend anyone join this organization.
