I had a video interview scheduled with Plume. When I logged on at the right time, nobody from their team showed up. After waiting 15 minutes, I sent a polite follow-up, assuming they might have had a good reason. The recruiter replied saying she'd sent an email earlier that day about a cancellation, which I never got. She also mentioned the hiring manager prefers candidates in PST or Mountain time zones. It seems like such a basic timezone requirement should be checked before scheduling interviews, not after someone has already shown up and waited. Candidates deserve to have their time respected, and this experience showed none of that.

The whole interview process took over 4 weeks. The questions were mostly about Data Structures and Systems Design. A downside was that HR kept calling for interviews during holidays, late nights, and early mornings. Even after 4-5 rounds and several follow-ups, they ghosted me. After 3 months, HR finally said there wasn't a budget for my role.

Even though I didn't move forward in the hiring process, the Recruiter Interview went well. It might have taken too long for my situation since I applied and then didn't progress because I got an earlier offer. Something I didn't like, if I have to mention it, is that they pre-offer interview slots even when you have some options or choices. But this is just a minor critique I have for this company, which is a startup growing in Wifi and expanding across EMEA.

The interview process consisted of 3 rounds, one with the hiring manager and two with other stakeholders. It was pretty straightforward, mainly discussing the execution of complex programs. I was told I had cleared the interview and was moving to the offer stage, but then the recruiter started ghosting me. After several follow-ups, I was informed the position had 'gone on hold'. It seems the recruiting team might not have been mature enough or lacked the necessary approvals to hire for the role. You might want to think twice before investing time in their interview process.
