Software Engineer
The whole interview process took over 4 weeks. The questions were mostly about Data Structures and Systems Design. A downside was that HR kept calling for interviews during holidays, late nights, and early mornings. Even after 4-5 rounds and several follow-ups, they ghosted me. After 3 months, HR finally said there wasn't a budget for my role.
- Focus on Data structures and Systems Design questions.
Software Engineer
I had 4 interviews in total. Each interview was with a different team lead, and they wanted to see how I'd interact with people from other teams and if I knew what they were up to. I also had a technical interview with my soon-to-be manager.
- Can you tell me about the different kinds of indexes used in databases?
- Imagine you're building a database for a store to manage receipts and products. How would you structure the tables and define their relationships?
- Could you describe what DNS is?
Software Engineer
I went through 3 rounds of interviews over 3 weeks. Scheduling was a bit slow, maybe because of the holidays, and we had to reschedule a couple of times. It started with a recruiter call, then a hiring manager chat, and finally some coding challenges on Codility. The technical part covered design, architecture, and general computer science concepts.
- Can you tell me about past products you've worked on or contributed to?
- Specifically, what was your role and contribution to those products?
