Audio Project Coordinator
I interviewed in late December and then didn't hear anything back until mid-February about an offer. Communicating with recruitment was a bit tough, but the team that interviewed me was fantastic. They really took the time to explain the company, the department, and the role, and they answered all my questions. The interview questions were pretty standard and straightforward.
- How do you manage your organization in a busy setting?
Project Coordinator
So the interview had a bit of everything - we started with intros, then they asked me some behavioral questions and project management stuff. We also talked about whether I'd be a good fit for the role, and then I got to ask them questions. It was pretty professional and gave me a good idea of what the job is all about. The people were nice too, I really liked it.
- Can you elaborate on your past work history?
- What experience do you have that is relevant to this position?
- Tell me about a time you successfully managed a project.
Project Manager
The HR person I spoke with clearly lacked professional experience. It seemed like they were promoted from a receptionist role and had no formal HR training, making the interview not very smart. Their disrespectful behavior made me question the company's culture and hiring process.
- Were you asked a personal question that made you uncomfortable?
Senior Frontend Developer
It starts with a recruiter call, and if you pass that, they move on to a technical interview. The technical interview was with a nice and experienced software engineer. It mostly focused on JavaScript implementations, so it seems they're really looking for a JavaScript developer, even though the title is Frontend. Maybe don't apply if you're strictly frontend, but it could be good otherwise.
- Can you explain how to make an API call from a JavaScript file?
- What are your thoughts on how to implement Object-Oriented Programming?
