Applied in November and heard back the same month for the first round, which was a phone interview where I had to talk through my CV. About two weeks after that, I got scheduled for the final round, an in-person assessment. This involved a technical presentation about the role/equipment's mechanism, a site tour, and some general HR stuff. Got rejected about a month after the final round. Still, it was a fun experience and a good learning opportunity. I'm sure the person who got the job will enjoy it there!

I applied online and had a Teams interview with HR in London. After chasing HR twice, a Teams interview was scheduled with the Department Head and Hiring Manager. It was uncomfortable because the Hiring Manager kept interrupting me. The Department Head had to tell them off twice. The Department Head then asked me to prepare a presentation within a week and said HR would contact me in a couple of days to arrange an onsite interview. After the Teams interview, the Hiring Manager emailed some extra questions which I answered quickly. I was told I'd hear back soon and might have one more Teams interview before the onsite. It's been 6 weeks and I haven't heard anything back.

The whole process felt intense, but honestly, it was super organised and moved really fast. First off, I had this online interview, lasted about an hour. It was mostly standard questions about my CV, and they checked if I understood basic analytical techniques like HPLC and DSC. Then, there was a full day on site. That part had 3 interviews lined up: one was technical, another was HR focused. Everyone I met there was genuinely lovely and made me feel really welcome.

I applied via the career portal and got a vague email saying I was selected for the next step. Then, I heard nothing for two weeks until I followed up. The first two interviews, one with HR and one with the hiring manager, seemed to go well. Next, I had an on-site interview that lasted 7 hours where I felt I was thoroughly grilled. I thought it went well, and HR even gave me a brochure about benefits. A week later, I got a rejection email, which was really disappointing after such a long interview process and travel. It was a generic rejection, which felt impersonal. I wouldn't recommend this company, especially if you're new to the field! It was an entry-level role, but I had 2 years of experience, and it was still the worst interview I've ever had.
