the recruiter hit me up on linkedin after I sent my cv. we set up the first call, it was a 15 minute screening. Then, they scheduled another 30 minute interview for the next day since they were in a rush to fill the spot.

- What have you studied?

The recruiting process was clear, professional, and easy for candidates. Recruiters were always fast to reply. They focused a lot on my motivations, skills, and potential, not so much on my degrees and CV. They really tried to explain the company’s culture, what my role would be like, and what success looks like at Phaidon. Each interview felt like a real back-and-forth chat, with plenty of chances for me to ask questions and give feedback. The first two steps were talks with a senior talent acquisition consultant (phone and video call), then an interview with a team lead (in person). After that, I had to do a task by e-mail (picking the best candidate for a job from 3 CVs and explaining why). The next step was a live role-playing task (calling clients and candidates) where you get instant feedback, which you then have to use in your next attempt. The last round was an interview with the managing director. Everyone I met seemed nice, professional, and excited about their jobs. Their helpful approach made me even more eager to get the job. All in all, probably the best-run recruiting process I’ve ever had.

- What are your career development aspirations within recruiting?
Associate Consultant
The internal hiring team was helpful, and the process felt modern compared to other grad jobs I applied to. I felt I could be my true self and got through it smoothly. There were multiple stages: first some online tests, then a call with the internal hiring rep, then with the management team, and finally an in-office testing session.
- What drives you to apply for this position?
- What are your genuine career aspirations?

I went through 5 interviews in total, with the last one being in person. The recruiter said she'd let me know next week but then just ghosted me. It was super unprofessional and honestly really disappointing given all the effort I put in.
- Tell me about your hobbies.
- What makes you interested in this position?
- Can you describe how you deal with rejection?
