Associate Consultant
The internal hiring team was helpful, and the process felt modern compared to other grad jobs I applied to. I felt I could be my true self and got through it smoothly. There were multiple stages: first some online tests, then a call with the internal hiring rep, then with the management team, and finally an in-office testing session.
- What drives you to apply for this position?
- What are your genuine career aspirations?
Associate Consultant
There were 7 rounds of interviews. Initially, a few conversations with HR to make sure all the basic requirements were met. Later, I interviewed with the people I would be working with directly, including colleagues, my manager, and a director. To do well, it’s important to show a strong interest in recruitment, a lot of commitment, and to explain what your financial incentive is for working hard.
- Are you open to working early and extended hours?
- This role demands significant commitment. What drives you?
Associate Consultant
The entire interview process was really smooth, clear, and professional from start to finish. After an initial phone interview, which was super pleasant and felt like chatting with a friend (Shoutout to Chrishan Luchmaya!), I then had one-on-one interviews with the Head of Europe from Selby Jennings. Next, I spoke with the Head of the London office. The final stage was a work sample presentation with the Head of Risk and Analytics. Honestly, everyone I met was genuinely professional and seemed really keen to get to know me better. My advice is just to be yourself. It truly helps both you and the company figure out if the position is the right fit. You get to assess if the job is for you, and they can determine if you'd be a valuable addition to their team.
- Can you tell me your top 3 strengths?
- What is your motivation for entering this industry?
- Could you share some information about your hobbies?
