Screening, then a technical round, followed by an HR round. Then we discussed compensation and they released the offer. I'll be working on a project with a good environment and the best team. I am comfortable working with the team, gained new knowledge and am happy to work.

After applying, I had a quick chat with the hiring manager. Then, I went for an on-site interview in Stevenage. The two people interviewing me were nice and put me at ease, but it felt really casual. They didn't ask any technical stuff, no need for a presentation, just general questions about situations. They even said they hadn't looked at my CV and seemed like they weren't ready. Still, they were super welcoming and made me feel like I was a good fit. It was a bummer not to hear back, and after chasing them with a few emails, I got an automatic rejection a month later.

External headhunter reached out about a similar position and put my name forward to the organization. PerkinElmer's Talent Acquisition (TA) emailed me about the same role, and I let them know about the headhunter and that I was waiting to schedule an interview. TA asked me to stop working with the headhunter and go through them instead. I informed the headhunter and was told to wait. TA reached out again for a screening call, and we arranged it, but the call didn't happen. When I followed up, TA seemed irritated and insisted I was following up too much, even though they didn't call or reach out at the agreed time. I waited 15 minutes past the agreed time before reaching out. The second call was 20 minutes late. The last time I reached out was via a message stating I had tried to connect with no success.

I applied online via the PKI website, and the team lead contacted me for an in-person interview. We ended up doing it virtually and scheduled it for the following week. The team lead and a senior specialist interviewed me. They were nice and relaxed, saying we should treat it like a conversation. This meant they chatted a lot, which was fine, but they also interrupted me a few times when I was answering. The questions were mostly about culture fit, behavior, or my past research work. They never got back to me.
