Behavioral Technical Coding

The online interview went fine, had a mix of behavioral and technical questions. The people I spoke with were super nice and easy to chat with. They mentioned a code challenge would be next, but I never got it. HR went silent for a month, then made excuses about why it was delayed (like the hiring manager being sick), and then after two more weeks, they said they chose someone else. It felt like they were just stalling to see if their first choice worked out, leaving me hanging.

First there was a call about my skills and interests. Then I had a skill-based online programming challenge, like HackerRank. After that, it was an onsite interview with 3 rounds. They drilled me on my resume and projects, and reviewed my projects in detail. There was a challenging test given the time, and I had to be fast enough to come up with a solution and code satisfying all the test cases. One of the coding questions was XML parsing based.

The interview process started with an HR round where they asked some basic questions. Then, there was a phone interview where I had to solve a coding problem. The next stage was an onsite interview that included questions about my resume, academic projects, and some basic programming questions. After I received the final offer, there was a drug test, and then I started my internship within a few days.
