First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peloton Consulting Group.
Technical Implementation Analyst
The interview process involved three rounds. It started with a recruiter screen, followed by a discussion with a team member. The final round had three 30-minute interviews with different team members I would be working closely with. Overall, it was a straightforward and thorough process.
- What makes you want to work at Peloton?
Analyst
The interview process was pretty thorough. I had a preliminary call with HR, and then one interview with a managing consultant. After that, I had 3 back-to-back interviews over Teams with 1-2 consultants each. I made a personalized portfolio to show them during the interviews. It was mostly about communication and personality fit, but there were a few technical questions. My best advice is to look up your interviewers beforehand and ask them questions about their career experience, how they got promoted early, etc.
- Can you describe your soft skills and which part of the business you feel you align with most? Also, what are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What are some of your soft skills, and which aspect of the business do you connect with the most? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Tell me about your soft skills, the part of the business you align with most, and your strengths and weaknesses.
Technical Implementation Consultant
The interview process was very relaxed and conversational. It was a great opportunity to talk to people and ask them questions to truly get to know you. The final round was a panel interview where you met some consultants who provided valuable feedback and advice on what to expect.
- Tell me about a time you took initiative on a task outside your defined responsibilities.
Consultant
The whole thing took about 6 weeks. It started with a recruiter reaching out by email, followed by a quick phone chat. A couple weeks later, I had some interviews with other consultants. They were friendly and the interviews were pretty standard, asking things like about my past consulting work, what I liked and disliked, and how I handled client problems. A week after that, the recruiter gave me good feedback and we set up another interview with a Manager. After that last one, I got ghosted. I tried reaching out for about 3 weeks via email and phone calls, and finally heard back with a 'stay in touch' kind of message, even though they were impressed. So, Peloton seems like a cool company with smart people. The interview process felt a bit long, and I never got a formal rejection. It felt disrespectful to be ignored after four interviews and all the effort I put into researching and preparing.
- How would you describe your technical skills?
