This interview was super weird. They had me and another person interviewed at the same time, we both had to answer the same questions one after the other. It felt like they wanted us to compete and see who was more aggressive and responsive. I was told it was a salaried job on the phone, but in the interview they kept talking about commission. The interviewer dodged salary questions, saying he only talks about it if they decide to make an offer, and even implied that asking about salary means you're not a go-getter. They just wanted us to fill out info on a clipboard and didn't care about our resumes, seemed like they just wanted people to sell cable. The office looked nice though.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty easy overall. Everyone I met was super friendly, starting from the person who scheduled it to the owner who made the offer. The office had a really good vibe, and people seemed happy with their day-to-day work. The team was young and driven, which reminded me of my college fraternity days. After meeting with the senior leaders, the owner offered me a job. The second interview went into detail about salary, client interactions, and career advancement. Be sure to ask any questions you have during the third round. They asked a lot about what I wanted in my next role and what I could contribute. It was a straightforward process with good conversations.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The first round made it seem like it was a marketing and promotions job, but they were really just checking if I looked like a salesperson. The second round explained the company and how they operate. They hire everyone into entry-level sales roles and expect them to expand the company by opening new locations. The job involves going door-to-door selling with provided leads. There's no base salary. In the third round, I met with the sales and hiring managers. They asked about my competitiveness, my sports background, and described the company culture. It seems like they just have many different ways of calling it a sales position.

It was a three-part interview process. A phone screening that lasted about 10 minutes, then a first interview for around 15 minutes. The second interview was much longer, about an hour and a half. During that second interview, they really explained their company's history, their clients, and how they make money. They talked a lot about the growth potential in their industry, which is something I'm more interested in for the long term. The people I talked to seemed pretty cool and down to earth. I definitely got a sense of camaraderie in the office atmosphere.
