So, I went through this process: first a recruiter interview, then the hiring manager interviewed me, then I had to do a written assignment, and finally a group interview with 4 peers. After all that, they just ghosted me. The recruiter stopped responding. Then they posted the job again. I thought all the interviews went well. It makes no sense that the hiring manager advanced me if she wasn't impressed, or why I deserved to be ghosted after doing work for them and having another easy, boilerplate interview with four people less experienced than me. Don't waste your time with this place.

The hiring process for the Program Associate role began on May 15th and concluded on June 24th. It involved six main stages. First, an HR screen lasting 30 minutes. Second, a 30-minute interview with the Assistant Director. Third, a 30-minute interview with the Director. Fourth, a job simulation assignment that took one week to complete. Fifth, a 3-hour panel interview with several members of the D&I Team, conducted as back-to-back 30-minute meetings on the same day. Finally, a 30-minute interview with both the Director and Assistant Director. An offer was extended on 6/21, followed by a negotiation attempt on 6/24. However, the company did not negotiate and proceeded with another candidate.

The interview process started with a recruiter phone screening. The next week, I had a panel interview with 3 team members. It felt like a typical interview, but they were very stoic and didn't react much to my answers, and the questions were repetitive. After the interview, the recruiter sent an application for references. It's been about a month with no response, even after a follow-up email, so I think I was ghosted.

I applied online and someone reached out about a week later for a first phone chat. Booking it was easy. It was supposed to be 15 mins but went longer, like 30-35 mins. We talked about my background, how it fits the job, and what I'm looking for. Then, 2-3 days after that, they invited me for an in-person interview the next week. This was a pretty long one, about 2.5-3 hours, meeting with the team (Program Officers, Assistant Director, etc.). It was actually pretty fun and engaging, having 30-minute chats with groups of 2-3 people at a time. I also met with HR at the very end to cover general stuff and they said I'd hear back in about a week for a decision.
