First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Parker & Lynch.
Staff Accountant
Had three interviews. First was a phone interview where they asked about my resume. Then, I had a video interview, but the interviewer double booked and I ended up having to reschedule. For the next part, I was supposed to shadow, but even though I said I wasn't interested in sales, they had me sit with sales people and only one recruiter. At the end, I met with the office manager again, asking the same questions as before. Then I met with the district manager who was really pushy about sales, which I'm not interested in, my background is in HR. They said I'd hear back in two weeks, but it's been three and I haven't heard anything after following up twice.

Internal Auditor
I applied for this role on LinkedIn and got a call for a phone interview about an hour later. The recruiter then invited me for an in-person interview the following week. When I got to the office, I was told the person I spoke with had left the company and a different person would be conducting the interview. She was quite snobby and seemed to look down on me. After about 10 minutes, she told me I didn't have enough experience, even though the job posting said otherwise. She then vaguely suggested other opportunities might arise. I sent a thank you note afterward but never heard back. The whole experience felt like a waste of my time and money.
- Can you tell me what led you to choose accounting as your major?
Data Engineer/Data Scientist
They reached out to me for a role with a European company. There was a long interview process. Things got weird when one of the decision makers, who joined late in the game, didn't want to move forward. The Parker & Lynch managers weren't upfront about it, acted unprofessionally, played games, and then ghosted me.
- The interviews were long.
- There were 1-2 interviews with P&L.
- There were 3 client interviews.
Senior Manager
Started with an hour-long phone chat with the hiring manager. Then there was a panel interview, followed by more interviews. Some chats happened at Starbucks and others at offices in different spots. It was casual, but the questions were really deep. Even though they said they wanted to offer me the job, they ended up picking someone from a Big Four CPA firm, who was probably a better match for the job.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully sold a solution?
