First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at P.J. Fitzpatrick, Inc..
Bath Apprentice
The interview process started with a quick phone call from the recruiter, Travis Ramos. The main point of this call was to ensure I met the basic requirements like being able to lift 75lbs, wanting a long-term career, and being reliable. We then set up the next interview for a few days later with the Area Manager. During that meeting, we jumped right into discussing the day-to-day expectations of the job. The manager asked some questions similar to the recruiter, but also delved deeper with inquiries like "why PJ?" and "What makes you specifically the right person for the role?". Following this, I received a job offer and began my training about a week after that.
- Why should I hire you over someone else?
- What is your reason for wanting to work at PJ?
- What specific qualities do you possess that make you the ideal candidate for this position?
Call Center Representative
I applied online and they got back to me pretty quickly to set up an interview. The first interview was with one of the Call Center Managers and it was really nice, she was friendly and polite. They let me know I'd be moving on to a second, final interview and gave me some times to pick from for a day or two later. The final interview was with another Call Center Manager, and they were also respectful and helpful. The questions they asked were fair and direct for the job. Above all, the recruiter, Travis, was exceptional. He offered so much support and encouragement and kept checking in, which really made me more enthusiastic about the interview process and accepting the offer.
- Can you describe a time you had to decline a customer's request or inform them you couldn't assist, leading to their dissatisfaction? How did you handle that scenario?

The interview and onboarding process was really great! It was well-planned, organized, and structured. Kathleen made a fantastic first impression of the company and then passed me to Jen S, who is super friendly and communicates really well. Kyle conducted one of the most professional interviews I've ever had, and I felt challenged, which tells me they're serious about finding the right fit. Everyone was a wonderful addition to the team and made me feel well-informed and excited to start! The whole interview and onboarding is seamless, 10/10.

I applied online which was simple. No need to retype my whole resume into their ATS. Charlie the recruiter emailed to set up a phone interview. He called right on time and we had a nice, easy chat. He asked typical experience questions and explained the job and expectations. He then set me up for an in person interview with Josh, the Sales Manager. After getting an offer, Jennifer the Onboarding specialist helped with all the orientation paperwork and gave me all the details for my first day. I'm a week into training and it's been a great experience so far.
