Sales Representative
I applied and had a quick introductory call where we talked about the job and my background. Then there was a video interview that started with chatting about my resume, followed by a presentation on the company and the role. They asked a couple of questions after the presentation. The whole thing took about three weeks, and I heard back about the decision about a week after the video interview.
- What distinguishes you from the competition?
Account Manager
It was a great experience. You get to see what the work is really like, which is a big deal! They are super transparent. You also get to meet and chat with the owner. He really cares about everyone he interviews and is willing to negotiate to make things work for the right candidate. Because of this, he cares about the success of everyone who works for him. He's also a well-known and respected business leader featured in Forbes and Inc. magazine, and recognized as an expert at developing young entrepreneurs into business leaders in his field. Getting to work with that type of leader, and get paid for it, is a massive opportunity for sure.
- Are you interested in managing a team in the future?
Sales and Marketing Associate
The interview process started with a basic screening and questioning round. If you passed that, you moved on to the second round where you had to shadow a sales manager or associate from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. I followed someone all day and learned that the job involves going door-to-door to sell a specific product. At the Carson City location, they were selling T-Mobile contracts. The third and final interview was with the CEO, who gave a final evaluation. It was quite an extensive process for a sales job. I liked that they were upfront about the job details, but it would have been better if it was a paid experience.
- What distinguishes you from the other applicants?
Account Executive
After submitting my resume, I got an interview scheduled within a couple of days. When I showed up early, the waiting area was packed with other candidates. It felt like a really busy doctor's office. My interview with the President, Elijah, started 90 minutes after my scheduled time. They asked me to do a second all-day ride along interview, which I declined. I'm not sure why anyone would want to work for a company that doesn't respect people's time like this. If a candidate was 90 minutes late, they'd be sent home. Companies should be held to the same standard. Be careful if you consider this company.
