Account Manager
First, you'll get a call from HR for a phone interview. After that, there's a digital interview through DigitalHire. The final step is a Zoom interview with a company leader. If you're a good fit, they'll offer you the job.
- Could you describe your leadership style?
- What was a key takeaway from experience 'x'?
- What constructive feedback might your previous manager give you?
Account Manager
This company is basically a door-to-door sales pyramid scheme. While some employees seemed to enjoy it, it wasn't for me and wasn't what was described initially. I flew to LA at my own expense, hoping for the best. The building looked corporate from the outside but was divided into small offices. On arrival, I was given forms like an audition. The CEO gathered us for a morning meeting with lots of shouting and clapping. The office space was just an empty room for this. They called out top sellers. Then I was assigned a mentor and we left. The job requires you to have your own car for driving to businesses (which they didn't mention) and driving 200-300 miles daily with no gas reimbursement. My mentor, a top seller, seemed socially awkward and had dropped out of college for this job. We drove around selling cell plans to small businesses in industrial Anaheim, acting like a T-Mobile subsidiary. I wouldn't have flown out if I knew this. My feet hurt (they stress heels for women), I was hungry, trapped, and couldn't leave. I decided to finish the interview to maintain a good image. My mentor implied he made around 50k, which is what they said I could expect. Back at the office, I had a sit-down with the CEO. It was an easy interview; maybe I'm good at BS. They offered me the position. When I asked about relocation compensation, they couldn't even cover my plane ticket. Overall, an exhausting interview, a waste of time, not recommended unless you love sales and driving.
- What strengths do you possess that you can contribute?
- Do you think you'd do well in a competitive sales setting?

Great atmosphere with all the employees having awesome energy. Truly enjoyed interviewing with them. First day you sit down with HR and the interviewer asks you several questions, mostly regarding your background. They emphasize that sales is more about talent rather than experience so if you don't have sales experience don't worry apply! The next round consisted of shadowing a team leader and you get a full experience of the sales side. I liked the transparency of the company. The final interview is sitting down with the CEO and he talks to you about the day and the team leader's evaluation of your performance in the shadowing stage. Great company and would highly recommend! I unfortunately could not accept due to personal circumstances but it is a great job opportunity for those interested in sales!
- Can you explain the law of averages?
