The hiring process usually starts with screening resumes. Candidates whose profiles match the job criteria are then contacted for an initial phone call to check their motivation, core skills, and availability. Finally, selected candidates interview with the hiring manager or lead, where their technical skills, experience, and fit for the role are assessed in more detail.

First, there's usually an online assessment or screening. Then, you'll have one or two technical interviews that check your skills, projects, and how you solve problems. The last step is an HR or manager chat to see if you communicate well, fit the culture, and understand the job expectations. If it's an experienced role, you might have a client or domain-specific interview too.

So I interviewed for this Quality & Compliance job, I had prepped on all the usual stuff like QMS, ISMS, GxP, CSV, Data Integrity, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and Agile. But during the chat, I noticed we had different takes on some key industry things, like Data Integrity, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP terms. They weren't really hearing my side of it, and the call ended without any real feedback. It was fast, yeah, but I feel like interviews would be better if it was more like a real conversation, you know? Where you can actually talk things through, check knowledge against what's standard everywhere, and get some useful pointers. That way, everyone's on the same page and you build up that trust.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked about regulatory standards and compliance topics, specifically Data Integrity, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP practices.

The recruiter (Prasad Malla) did the phone screening and called for the face to face interview. He mentioned, that there will be direct one round of interview (The actual interview) and if it goes well offer will be made. But the response later didn’t match the conversation we had over the phone. Upon asking for the job description for the role twice, it was never shared with me and instead was told that it’s not a developer role to have a job description. Upon scheduling the interview no proper time slot was shared. The interview was not properly structured or organised. In the hurdle of other ongoing interviews (SAP admin roles), (Tatikonda Vasundhara) Lead Recruiter, mistaken me as a junior candidate for a SAP role. Upon telling I am here for different role, I was interviewed by her. The interview was about just 10 minutes with no questions asked about my skills and experience which can align to the role. Instead it was generic and it didn’t seem fruitful to its nature. Upon asking about the tool the organisation uses for sourcing it was turned down stating it’s confidential.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about yourself, and not much else for a senior candidate
