First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.
Cruise Consultant
I attended a hiring event with other people. They explained the job, the benefits, and about the company. My interview had two parts where I had to talk about my past experiences and answer behavioral questions. Waiting was a bummer, I was there for over an hour because there were so many people getting interviewed at the event.
- Why are you the best fit for this role?
Outbound Sales Representative
It starts as a huge "Zoom" group interview that goes over basic expectations and hours, etc. The second step was me reaching out to the recruiter if I was interested, then stage 3 is a one-on-one with a manager from your State. It was more expectations, earnings, and asking if you are ok working 6 of 8 weekend days for 4 hours. Fairly simple, they are simply looking for driven, money-motivated people.
- Are you okay with working over 50 hours weekly, and that includes 6 weekend days out of 8 in a month?
- What do you consider the most critical element in the 5-step sales process?
- Are you motivated by money?
Cruise Specialist
It was a two-stage process, first with the area leader and then with management. The conversations were calm and objective, with questions directed at previous roles and companies. They asked about my formations and if I had any specialization in tourism and sales. There was also an English test.
- Could you tell me about your experience?
- What prompted your departure from your previous employer?
- What educational background do you possess?
Senior Web Applications Developer
Got this opportunity from recruiter. She sent me the job description. Then, I had a screening call with the recruiter the next day. She asked about my experience and skills. After that, she submitted my profile to the hiring manager. Next week, I got a message that they moved my profile to the interview process. After that, I had two rounds. First round was a technical assessment. It contained 4 medium programs and 1 hard SQL question. Total time: 3 hours. I got the result on the same day. Then scheduled the final round after that week. Final round: Hiring manager and director. They asked about my projects and some technical questions.
- What are some array problems you've encountered?
- Can you discuss palindromic questions?
- Tell me about your experience with SQL joins.
