So, it was 4 rounds total, 3 online and then 1 onsite. First was just an intro and they wanted to see my motivation. Then round 2 was with the VP, pretty basic stuff, just checking finance knowledge and my experience. Round 3 was with the ED, they really dug into the concepts and my work. The onsite was kind of similar, multiple rounds, but they weren't as intense as the earlier ones.

I had 6 interviews, each lasting 20-30 minutes. The phone screen had easy, straightforward questions. I was surprised everyone kept their cameras off, and when I asked, they cited technical issues or being away from their desk. The interviews included questions about RMBS, CMBS, Duration, Convexity, and Fixed Income Research. There were also 2-3 SQL questions.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you explain what RMBS and CMBS are?
  • Could you define Duration and Convexity?
  • What is RMBS and CMBS? What is Duration and Convexity?
