Lead Recruiter
So during the phone interview, the recruiting manager talked about how the candidate needs to be okay with getting a TS/SCI with CI Poly after hire. This wasn't what I expected because the job description only said it was desired. I wasn't sure why this came up and it didn't really fit with what we're looking for. I also want to give some feedback on how the whole interview felt. Candidate experience is super important because word travels fast. The phone interview felt kinda cold and like they weren't really listening. And when the recruiting manager kept saying they had '15 more candidates in the pipeline,' it felt like they were using the slow market to their advantage instead of just having a normal, honest chat. Compliantly, they should have said something like, 'I have other candidates to screen and will let you know if we move forward.' Anything else makes it seem unfair and inconsistent. Using the slow market like that just hurts the company's image and makes people not want to trust you. Honestly, it left a bad taste that could have been avoided with a more respectful, open, and team-player attitude. Taking care of candidates isn't just good practice; it's how you avoid problems in the Defense and Intelligence world.

Software Engineer
I had a direct chat with management to see if I was a good fit, if I knew my stuff, and what the job is really like. We talked about where the job is, what it pays, the benefits, and what they expect from me. They also asked about other things I'm into and if I'm thinking about going back to school for more degrees or getting any certs.

Project Manager
The hiring process was really fast and straightforward. It started with a call with HR to discuss the job and check if I was a good fit for a potential opening. Then, I had a second interview with the team I'd be working with if they secured a particular contract. It went smoothly, and I felt they were looking for someone with my background. I interviewed, got an offer, and accepted it all within 7 business days. After signing the offer and contract, I completed the required background check information. I was informed the background check could take 6-8 weeks, and there was a strong possibility Noblis would win the bid for this role, with confirmation expected by the end of June. I signed the offer in early June and waited. My attempts to contact the HR representative and the background check contact were met with assurances that Noblis would reach out if the client needed more information. By late July, despite multiple unanswered emails to the HR rep, I finally received a call. The call revealed that Noblis hadn't won the bid for this position and the HR rep admitted they should have contacted me weeks earlier. They apologized and asked me to submit my resume for other openings on their site, given I had already cleared their internal screening and background check. However, it's been 2-3 weeks since that call, and I haven't heard back about the jobs I've applied to and notified them about. Although the initial interview stages were simple, the HR team seemed disorganized and failed to communicate crucial updates, such as the job no longer being available or the need to expect communication from an external party. This led to me waiting for two months, assuming Noblis would proactively inform me if they didn't get the contract.

Senior Recruiter
The process was really straightforward. First, I had a phone screening with a recruiter to talk about the role and give them a rundown of my experience. Then, there was a video interview with a panel that included two recruiting managers and the TA director. After that, I had another interview with one of the managers to go over more details.
- Can you tell me about your approach to managing requisition load?
- Describe the recruiting process you typically follow.
- How do you handle candidate management throughout the hiring lifecycle?
