First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Noblis.
Software Engineer
I had a direct chat with management to see if I was a good fit, if I knew my stuff, and what the job is really like. We talked about where the job is, what it pays, the benefits, and what they expect from me. They also asked about other things I'm into and if I'm thinking about going back to school for more degrees or getting any certs.

Software Development Engineer
Because I was an intern before, I kind of knew I'd get an offer even before the interview. There were about 4 or 5 phone calls over 3 months. We talked about my background, my skills, and the general scope of projects I could work on.
- Are you familiar with asynchronous programming and do you have experience with web development using technologies like node.js and angular? Please elaborate based on your resume.
- Can you describe yourself, your personal brand, and your thought process? What challenges have you faced and how do you manage multitasking? Also, please share an example of when you've given constructive feedback.
Technical Lead
A referral got me in the door. First up was a phone interview with folks from different departments. It was pretty standard stuff: company overview, what I'm looking for, etc. No technical stuff at all. Then I went to campus for the next stage. I had to give a 45-minute presentation on whatever I wanted to, in front of about 20-25 people. After that, a small group interviewed me more formally. Most of the questions were about how my background could help with the company's current challenges. It wasn't super hard, but not basic either. They also showed me around the building. The workspace seemed modern and welcoming, and the people I met seemed happy. To wrap up the day, I met with HR. They gave me a lot of good info about the area and moving. They tried to get me out before the evening traffic really kicked in, but by the time I left, the beltway was starting to get busy. After the interview day, I had to fill out a formal application. About a month later, they made an offer.
- How can you apply your past technical experiences to our current challenges?
