Customer Success Manager
The interview process was well-organized, moved quickly, and felt really professional. I went through 3 main parts: first, an HR chat, then a talk with the hiring manager, and finally, a meeting with a VP. Each stage checked different things — like if I'd fit the team culture, if I understood the job technically, and how I think about customers. The people interviewing me were nice, straight to the point, and asked questions about real-life situations instead of just theory. They kept me in the loop with communication, and even though there was a small wait because of other interviews happening, the recruiter let me know what was up. It felt like a solid and fair process overall, and they really wanted to make sure we were on the same page before making any decisions.
- Why did you choose to apply for the Customer Success Manager role at NinjaOne?
Sales Development Representative
First, I had a 30-minute screening with a corporate recruiter, Mikey. He was really nice and professional, and it wasn't too stressful! Then, I had an on-site interview with two sales managers. They were also very professional, which I appreciated. The interview included a presentation I had to prepare beforehand and a mock sales call with them. It's important to prepare well for interviews, be honest, and have integrity, especially during your presentation. This is your chance to show them your knowledge and how you approach business development. They really want to see how you think and, importantly, how you respond to feedback.

QA Tester
The interview process had four parts. First, a recruiter call. Second, a call to make sure I was a valid candidate, checking things like language skills and asking basic questions. Third, a technical interview to assess my skills and self-management. The last part wasn't really an interview, it was more like an email exchange where I had to do an exercise. This test was a simple exercise, but the recruiter could have made it harder if she wanted perfection for the company. I didn't get any feedback for over a month, and then they just told me that an internal referral got the job.

Product Scripting Engineer
I went through a pretty extensive hiring process with NinjaOne, but in the end, they ghosted me. For the engineering job, I first had to complete a scripting challenge that took me about three hours, which seemed reasonable. After that, I interviewed with a senior director and a lead engineer. I thought it went well based on my impression and what the recruiter said, but I realized they were looking for more than just a PowerShell expert; they wanted someone who knew Linux, Mac, and pretty much every OS. Two weeks later, I had a final interview with the VP of Software Engineering. I put a lot of time and effort into this, only for them to disappear without any feedback or even a rejection email. It's disappointing because, after requiring so much from candidates, the least they could do is provide an update. This kind of unprofessionalism is a concern, making me wonder how they treat their actual employees. So, be warned and don't expect much.
