The NYC Law Department reached out about my application for the Paralegal Aide - Level II position that I submitted through DCAS. My interviewer was nice, professional, and pretty informative. After the interview, it took about two weeks to get a verbal offer, contingent on completing onboarding documents on time.

Behavioral Technical

It was a panel interview with three interviewers who asked behavioral and experience-based questions. They asked a lot about how I would handle specific scenarios and my experience with particular software. I was expecting to hear back within two weeks, but it's been four weeks with no word, so I assume I've been ghosted. This is disappointing, especially since I had to take unpaid time off for the interview.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you explain what diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you and state their importance?
  • In specific scenarios, how would you go about performing certain tasks?
  • What is your level of experience with specific software applications?
