First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NETSCOUT.
C/C++ Developer
My first round interview got rescheduled twice without any heads-up. Each time, they told me at the last minute that the interviewer was busy. When it finally happened, the interviewer didn't seem very interested, and it felt like they were just going through the motions. I didn't feel like putting in much effort or answering the questions properly. After that, I didn't hear anything back or get any feedback.
- Could you write some code on notepad, focusing on structures, nested structures, linked lists, and pointers?
Technical Support Engineer
The interview process involved both one-on-one and group roundtable discussions, covering both technical and non-technical topics. The whole thing took about 3-4 hours. I got positive initial feedback, and HR seemed to imply an offer was coming with comments like “you will love it here.” I sent thank you emails and followed up on the status, but never got any response, not even a rejection, despite multiple polite attempts. I’ve since retired, but as Glassdoor requires reviews for access, I'm sharing this experience. My career actually ended with a company that hired me within a week, which I respected.
- It’s been awhile. Can you describe your experience? They asked various technical questions and presented a classic Microsoft-style challenge.
Sales Manager
After submitting my application and resume, I went through a TEAMS interview for a technical assessment. Then there was a technical/behavioral interview, followed by a panel interview. The final stage was a reference check that led to a job offer. There were also different psychological tests and case preparations. Communication and feedback were important throughout, and they wanted me to ask questions to ensure it was a good fit for both sides.
- Can you explain your approach to securing and ensuring compliance with financial data in your projects?
RF Support Engineer
NETSCOUT provided an outstanding interview experience. The communication was clear, the interviewers were friendly, and the questions were relevant, making the whole process really smooth. They were really open about their culture and what they expect, which was super helpful. The whole thing was well-organized and professional from beginning to end. It felt welcoming and left me with a really good impression!
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
