This was a terrible hiring process. It took them two whole months to get back to me. The pay wasn't competitive, and they wouldn't negotiate at all. Everyone was nice except for the manager, who came across as arrogant. He was actually rude to a senior software engineer right in front of me during my interview. It felt like a toxic environment to work under him. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're desperate.

I got the interview through a recruiter who had me do a skills assessment first. Then, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The questions were mostly about personality. They also offered an 'optional' take-home skills test. The manager talked about how nobody on his team did as poorly as I did on the test, not even him, which felt spiteful. He asked about my score right at the end of the interview. The whole experience was unprofessional, especially when they questioned why I scored worse than he did on a similar assessment. If I didn't meet the criteria, why interview me?
