My interview at NetJets was good. The process was organized and the recruiter let me know what to expect. First, there was a phone screen about my background and interest in NetJets. Then, I had interviews with the hiring team where they asked behavioral and role-specific questions. Everyone was nice and passionate. They were open about job duties, training, and growth. Sometimes, updates took a while. Overall, it was a strong experience and I liked the company and people. I'd recommend interviewing here.

I had high hopes for NetJets, but my interview experience was disappointing. Even though my resume showed solid experience, I was told I wasn't successful due to a 'lack of experience,' which felt contradictory given they interviewed me. The recruiter had a dismissive tone from the start, mentioning 'a lot of competition' early on. I got the impression that hiring decisions were based more on appearance than qualifications, and noticed a lack of diversity, suggesting a disadvantage for people of color. I'd advise people of color to check LinkedIn profiles and team pages to see if they see people who look like them, to help set expectations. I stayed professional, but felt it was important to call out inequity.

The interview process started great, but then it turned into unprofessional ghosting. I had my first interview about a week after applying. This was an HR phone screen. Then I moved to the second round, a video chat with my potential supervisor. Lastly, I had a third round with 3 team members. That's when things got weird. The third round was supposed to be 3 separate 30-minute one-on-one interviews, taking 1.5 hours total. But when I got there, my potential boss told me I was super early and seemed annoyed. Turns out, the interview format changed internally, but they didn't tell me. It was now a panel interview with all 3 team members at once, taking about an hour. The start time was also moved up 30 minutes from what I was told. No wonder she was upset! I was basically wasting 30 minutes of her time. I don't blame her, though she could have hidden her annoyance better. I blame whoever didn't tell me about the changes. Anyway, the panel interview went fine. Actually, the new format made more sense because the team members had a lot of the same questions. It was good not having to repeat myself. The next day, I sent a thank you note to my HR contact since I didn't have the interviewers' emails. I asked her to pass on my thanks and also asked about next steps, as the panelists didn't know. I heard nothing back. After 2 weeks, I followed up again. Still nothing. Another week later, I finally got a generic, automated rejection email. It wasn't even from a person. It really sucks to go through 3 rounds of interviews only to get silence and a generic rejection. Super unprofessional. I probably won't apply to NetJets again.

The interview process included 4 rounds. It kicked off with an HR screening, then SOM and DOC interviews. After that, I was invited for an in-person visit to the offices, which was the final stage. I even got a goodies bag. Five days later, I got a generic rejection saying they chose another candidate, which left me confused. The office manager didn't even reply to my email after I thanked her and told her I was still interested. It made me rethink my approach and wonder if they even had a job opening.
