Had one phone call with an analyst, they asked me some technical and market questions. The call was kinda dry and didn't feel like a real conversation. I don't think I really got to show who I am.

It was tough. I met with a bunch of junior and senior bankers. It started technical and got less so as I met more senior people. It ended with interviews in NY.

This was the first round interview. The Managing Director gave a quick background of the role and his team, then asked a few questions. He shared his experience with the company and which types of companies he covers. It lasted about 30 minutes or so.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was super quick. Started with a behavioral phone interview, pretty chill, and the interviewer was helpful. Then, a super technical and direct second phone interview. The first interviewer did say to really know IB inside out, and they weren't kidding. The second interviewer drilled me on those same topics, probably to see if I'd mess up. So, definitely prep thoroughly.
